Delivery Driver
Key Responsibilities
- Logistics & Delivery: Safely transport, load, and unload garden center products. Ensure timely arrivals and maintain a clean driving record.
- Client Relations: Provide professional and courteous service during drop-offs, acting as the face of the company.
- Material Handling: Manage inventory for specific jobs and ensure materials are placed accurately at customer sites.
- Equipment & Maintenance: Safely operate skid steers and professional landscaping tools.
- Nursery Support: Assist with heavy lifting, and other garden center duties as assigned by the team manager.
- Safety & Quality: Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure work meets company quality standards in all weather conditions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Michigan Driver’s License with a clean record. Chauffeur’s license required; CDL preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly, stand, and bend for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual and prepared to start at the designated time. Must have reliable transportation and be reachable via phone/email.
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including mandatory weekends and holidays during peak seasons.
- Compliance: Must be 18+ years of age, authorized to work in the US, and pass a criminal background check.
Garden Center Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, answer basic questions about plants, pricing, and services, and ensure a positive checkout experience.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit payments using a POS system, including managing returns and exchanges.
- Assist with watering, pricing, and, if required, loading heavy items like bags of soil, fertilizer, or pots (up to 50 lbs.).
- Answer phones, take customer orders and provide general customer assistance.
- Review merchandise orders ensuring accuracy upon delivery.
- Stock areas and displays with merchandise.
- Assign proper signage to plants and trees, ensure garden center is in proper order
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient operations and assist in other departments as needed.
- Can operate or is willing to learn to drive skid steers
Requirement Skills:
Education:
- High school or equivalent (GED)
- College
Experience:
- Retail sales: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
- Previous retail or cash-handling experience is preferred, but not required.
- We are willing to train team members.
- Basic understanding of gardening/plants is a plus, or a strong willingness to learn.
- US Work authorization (Preferred).
- Great teamwork attitude.
- Must have a valid MI driver’s license.
- Must be punctual and prepared to begin work at their designated start time. Reliable transportation and active communication (email/phone) required.
- Must be 18+ years old and pass a criminal background check.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and work in varied weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
- Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. Regularly.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays (specifically Mother’s Day/Memorial Day weekends).
Landscape Crew Member
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Follow instructions, execute landscape plans, including planting trees/shrubs and flowers, mulching and pruning.
- Material Handling: Load/unload trucks, manage inventory for jobs, and deliver materials to site.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and perform daily maintenance on professional landscaping tools and equipment.
Requirement Skills:
- Experience: 1+ year of landscape maintenance and customer service preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record required; Chauffeur or CDL license is a plus.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., stand, bend, and work in varied weather.

Landscape Forman
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Mentor: Lead and supervise a team of landscape technicians on daily tasks including landscape maintenance, planting, and pruning. Train members on best horticultural practices, safety protocols, and efficient production.
- Project Execution: Execute landscape plans, including planting trees/shrubs and flowers, mulching and pruning.
- Material Handling: Load/unload trucks, manage inventory for jobs, and deliver materials to sites.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and perform daily maintenance on professional landscaping tools.
- Quality & Safety: Ensure all work meets company standards and strict compliance with safety regulations. Oversee safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to safety guidelines during operations
- Hands-on Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform physical, field-based tasks including lawn care, gardening, horticultural practices, and diagnosing/resolving landscape issues.
- Client Communication & Relationship Management: Actively communicate with clients to determine project goals and provide regular updates on progress, ensuring a high standard of service.
Requirement Skills:
- Experience: 2+ years of landscape maintenance and customer service preferred. Deep knowledge of planting, bed prep, mulching, grading, and maintenance.
- Licensure: Valid Michigan driver’s license with a clean driving record required; Chauffeur or CDL license is a plus.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs., stand, bend, and work in varied weather.
