Cucumber, Burpless Garden Sweet Hybrid
This classic, long, slender, "low-acid" cucumber is favored by gardeners throughout
Asia and the Midwestern U.S, for its delicious, mild, sweet flavor. It is called
Burpless because it is milder than the average cucumber and casier to digest, liter-
ally without or, at least with fewer, belches. The dark green cukes measure 10- 12"
long. The plants ability to tolerate Downy Mildew and Powdery Mildew enhances
yield potential.

Select a sunny, well-drained location and sow in late spring when soil is warm and
all danger of frost is past. Dont bother to start cucumbers indoors early: cucumber
plants from sceds sown outdoors usually catch up with cucumbers started early
indoors. Always press soil firmly over seed.

a trellis to grow long, straight fruit.
